I may have lost my shit on a signature gatherer. But my presence was so upsetting she left. I just kept yelling to anyone who would listen that the store didn’t give her permission to be there, she’d been asked to leave, and the police had been called.

There is something really wrong with people who need workers to be not just competent, but slavishly fake-happy. "Slavishly" used on purpose, bc that's where this grotesquerie comes from.
