How a flawed idea is teaching millions of kids to be poor readers
For decades, schools have taught children the strategies of struggling readers, using a theory about reading that cognitive scientists have repeatedly debunked. And many teachers and parents don't kno...

So, I was thinking about solar wind, as one does. Then it occurred to me that all those tiny little particles that go flying out of the sun have to weigh quite a lot.

So that lead me to ask “how long does it take the sun to emit the weight of the Earth as solar wind?”

This analysis is 100% spot on.
Rhetorical pleas against infighting are always begging the question about who's actually on the same side as you.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

The answer Sen, Shaheen is that since America elected the Black man to be president, the official position of the Republican Party is “not to work together with Democrats to address the problems that are facing this country.”
Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

okay, so, with Dems successfully keeping anyone up in 2026 for voting for this turd let's take a look at who's up in 2026 anyway:

1. Cory Booker - apparently involved behind the scenes, constantly looking for bipartisanship. I don't dislike him personally but he doesn't have what we need. Primary.

Are you really that gullible or are you complicit?

Johnson won’t hold an ACA vote. The senate vote won’t matter, even if it does pass.

And that’s assuming that there ever is a vote.

Good thing the GOP leadership has such a good record on truthfulness.

Senator Kaine is a spineless fool.

No it’s important to listen to this. Because then you understand that many of them will do ANYTHING to keep power. Remember Musk got involved in the 2024 election after saying to Tucker “if she wins” I am definitely going to prison.

So we need to move knowing that nothing is off the table for them.
Steve Bannon: If we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included.

IS pro: ISBNs are MINE, not KDP.
KDP pro: comes with ISBNs
IS con: books have to be returnable
IS pro: libraries and bookstores are markets
KDP con: no libraries or bookstores

Do I understand this right? Would appreciate observations and advice.

Thank you kindly!
