hey i know i'm not exactly going out of my comfort zone here but this Saturday the 24th i'm playing 12 hours of Hitman to fundraise for MIRAC, a group helping lead the fight against ICE in Minnesota. random (brown) people are being violently kidnapped without warrants every day. let's talk about it.

It’s 20 miles to the next town and the hobbits are on foot. They’re slow as shit with the stride length of 7 year olds and they run under the horse and get away. Historic gag job.

In no way, across any potential timeline, across all possible universes, was his “work” anything remotely resembling “good faith.” Any attempt to call it that now is dangerous and wouldn’t you know it - in bad faith.
The best way to honor Charlie's memory is to continue his work: engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse. In a democracy, ideas are tested through words and good-faith debate — never through violence.

Whether or not you support political violence won’t change where we’ve come to, nor where we’ve been for some time in this country. I am quite taken aback by how many people only invoke the term ‘political violence’ when it happens to a person with power. It’s political violence the other way too.
