I present to you my christmas lorikeet
Day 20 is a HUGE GIFT! My fav distillery, Aberlour, and one of my fav whiskies, the A'Bunadh. The story is great (more later), but the reason it's a fav is that it is aged entirely in Oloroso sherry butts and it is bottled at cask strength. No batch is identical but they all are likely to be great.

Day 19 is another one of my fav bottlers, Douglas Laing’s Old Particular single casks. This one is a Speyside 14yo, I believe finished in Oloroso butts.
Nose: sultanas and leather (a drop of water opens up the nose, a bit of apple skins)

Nose: super Speyside, toffee and vanilla, sweet and simple
Palate: again simple, very light, spices of various kinds (some baking, pepper)
Finish: short, creamy sweet vanilla
A simple but tasty dram!

Vi esse filme ontem e à parte o filme (que é ótimo, vejam) tinha um personagem escroto pra caralho, produtor de café, que falou “vcs não sabem tomar café, café se toma com lascas de chocolate amargo, dois ou três grãos de sal e um toque de canela” e obviamente fui fazer hoje e porra fica bom mesmo
