There are like a million NBA games on right now and I can’t find a single one on a “regular” cable channel. This is my sign to finally finish this anxiety-inducing Star Wars New Republic book.

Turns out launching an assault on Minneapolis might’ve been a major miscalculation and I am so glad. These people are carrying the whole country on their backs right now. Prayers for these brave people.

Agree. Also- this whole “earn” the vote thing is ridiculous- you vote the best option to as close to the policies you want- the way campaign finance is set up makes our choices limited from the get go.
Don't complain about fascism when the actual fascists finally do take over because you were angrily sucking your thumb.
Don’t blame people for not voting for someone who didn’t earn their vote

There of course have always been “some” groups who “actively” opposed the treatment of BIPOC but never a groundswell that lasted more than a few days of protesting. Hopefully this is finally the time.
Yes, worse before better. America, and white America specifically- has been very willing to be apathetic and in fact benefit from- the erasure, abuse and confinement of BIPOC since the country’s founding- that’s how we got here.
In the past couple days I think I finally came to terms with the unspeakable things the country will have to go through before we get to the other side. A private army with unlimited funding operating outside the law is gonna do some real bad shit before it can be stopped.

I like Teyana Taylor but I wish THIS wasn’t the vehicle she was getting rewarded for- hated that character. Wasn’t well developed and too many tropes.
“But then Assata Shakur died as I mulled over my review of the film and the insidiousness of using a Black woman revolutionary as a plot device for white male heroics in the film became even more glaring.”

Sorry Spurs fans, my fault- I jinxed it by telling my boyfriend how good they looked in the first half😩
Leads ain't what they used to be in the NBA.

Especially when they are built by 3-point shooting variance.

Especially when it's just one guy making them.

Julian Champagnie needed help.

Can’t say I blame them.

17 months after taking over a program w the most losses in CFB… Indiana is the National champs. Unbelievable. Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers finish 16-0 lead by a Miami kid in Fernando Mendoza. One of the greatest sports stories ever.
