You know, that guy. The one that did that thing.

Sometimes known as "The Half-Life guy" (but not for the Half-Life games that you're probably thinking of).

No matter how long I live after we get through this dark chapter, I will never get over the immorality, the amorality, the corruption, the criminality and the cruelty in service to one of the worst humans to ever walk the earth.

After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

The sheer lack of professionalism in #QT today was disappointing, appalling, but not at all surprising. Juvenile conduct that would be unacceptable anywhere else, is just business as usual.

Would love to see our nation's MPs act like professional adults. #auspol

Next week the House E&C Committee is looking to run something of a shock and awe campaign, debating at least 19 bills that they say are related to "protecting kids online." Most of which are actually about censorship and control. Don't buy the framing. It's always the same damn thing.

The subtext in JD Vance asking for "patience" on the economy: When leaders stop talking about current conditions and jump straight to rosy forecasts, they’re signaling the present isn’t defensible. That’s your cue to scrutinize the numbers, not just the narrative.

37 years later we are still dealing with a lot of stuff that goes back to Reagan in large part because Clintonian “New Democrats” did everything they could to make Reaganism permanent. Direct line between that and the rise of Trump and we should do everything to keep Dems from eternalizing MAGA next
I'm thinking about how it now seems clear this particular fascist moment will end, this particular movement will fall, but I'm thinking about all the forms of horrible harm that will be locked-in forever and go uncommented on. I am thinking about this because KOSA has been reintroduced in the House.

there is almost no feedback I will reflexively ignore as a game developer but “you shouldn’t name something X because people don’t know that word” is one of them. oh no! You might learn a new word! God forbid you take away a piece of knowledge from a game that’s not a brand of gun or some shit lol

Hypothesis: The people who pour so much money into the creation and maintenance of anger and fear are the ones who cannot fathom that the protests that arise in reaction against them can be organic, without requiring organisation or funding.

That's why they *assume* funding must exist.
Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.
