I did not enjoy listening to this clip. Esp as a parent parts of it feel almost unbearable to hear. That’s why I’m encouraging you to watch and listen to this
“The Israeli soldiers had rigged [a] can of food with an explosive.”

American surgeon Irfan Galaria tells @mehdirhasan.bsky.social about the Israeli military’s brutalization of children, and what he witnessed while working at Gaza’s Al-Shifa hospital.

“Shake up” includes:

High-earners: down from 5 - 3 years.
Nurses/Doctors: Same at 5 years.
Low paid workers (like carers): Up to 15 years.
Anyone unlucky enough to access benefits: 20 years.

This is the clearest indication yet that Labour now are no better than the Tories.

Water utilities don’t emit carbon dioxide or sell guns, and therefore come up fairly frequently in ethical investment packages. That is, um, probably not ideal.
Despite some very stiff challenges the privatisation of water was probably the most disastrous policy of the past 50 years

We really do need to start sending Ministers to prison.

Maybe it's time to make more noise about this? Last spring a thousand agents frantically redacted all mentions of Trump's name in the Epstein files. How does that square with what can and will be released?
FBI agents were told to 'flag' any Epstein records that mentioned Trump, Sen. Durbin says
President Donald Trump, bowing to days of pressure, asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to get grand jury testimony about Jeffrey Epstein unsealed.

That final point is absolutely crucial.
The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

The rule of law has delivered:

Profiteering
Poverty
Poor housing
Low wages/pensions
Queues for hospital appointments
Premature death to many
Sewage in rivers
Cuts in spending on essential services
Closure of libraries, community centres.

Whose law, who rules? Govts appease corporations/rich.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich

Nigel Farage wants to get rid of the NHS and replace it with US Insurance which would be 4x more expensive and worse in every way.

Except for the £600bn a year profit for him and his mates.

The Government needs to charge the debt to Michelle Mone and Doug Barrowman and then put out an arrest warrant.
