Since the invasion of Venezuela Trump has trashed all the arguments he used to justify the invasion.This was a shakedown. Since day one of the Trump regime I have used the term gangster fascism to describe his actions.

Canada ordering more than the sixteen F-35's from the USA that we already and unfortunately committed to, would be akin to Greenland building a monument to Trump at Pituffik.

I get that, for Canada, U.S. belligerence is incentive to try to further diversify oil exports to overseas markets. But at some point we may need to take into account that the geopolitical situation is also incentive for most countries to try to accelerate their shift away from oil reliance.

Maduro was selling oil to BRIC countries in exchange for non-US currency. China and India started using DIGITAL currency to buy that oil.
