The Trump administration is grossly incompetent on all levels. It lacks personnel w/ the knowledge to make meaningful trade deals w/ individual countries. We will end up with arbitrary tariffs that, in the absence of a coherent & long-term industrial policy, will do nothing to restore manufacturing
