Cool! Fun fact, the (now its own species) Saimaa Ringed Seal was featured in the 5 Markka coin of Finland until 2001, just before Finland adopted the Euro

imo museum are at their best when they’re in small towns and blur the line between legit history and tourist trap, so that being said:

1. Creationist Museum in Kentucky
2. Cryptozoology Museum in Maine
3. Capital Punishment Museum in Texas
Hey Bluesky, what are three of your favorite museums?

Her legend plaque is next to the Mothman’s because they are in love <3 (in a polycule with Cram)

Also during class we talked a bit about the cryptozoology museum in Portland, and someone was like “yea it’s small, you just need to go once” and I was like “and yet I have gone so many times”

Got to go to the Cryptozoology Museum with two of my older cousins today! Would recommend. Apparently one cousin got a picture of Bigfoot

Currently fixating on what I think is my favorite cryptid, the Dover Demon! So glad to share a home state with this horrendous thing

We talk about them amongst ourselves but we generally don't mention it to visitors because tourism is an important part of our income.

Come on up, visit, be sure not to miss the Cryptozoology Museum, have a good time, maybe meet a monster maybe not.

3. The one I think might actually have a real chance is the one I’m slowly poking at where Ed and Stede bond over their appreciation of cryptids and Ed invites Stede on a date to the Internatiosnl Cryptozoology Museum

International Cryptozoology Museum is open today (10-6). The only way we will open in Bangor is to keep the admissions and donations coming in to support the hardworking contractors making the renovations up North. Thank you!
