To be fair - Adobe’s only innovations as a company over the last 15 years or so have been focused on subscription services and rent-seeking. What’s the last new feature you recall coming to Acrobat or Photoshop or Indesign or Lightroom or the dozens of ither Adobe apps no one recalls.

I inked my new fan-comic with this method.
I drew characters and backgrounds on separate layers, then I used the layer masks to cover the overlapping parts. This hack helped me to re-use some complex backgrounds without losing the quality of the lineart.

I inked my new fan-comic with this method.
