Hoy empecé y terminé Thank Goodness You're Here! Aunque tiene partes divertidas y graciosas, es muy simple en gameplay, casi como un point-and-click, y quizás el humor británico no es lo mío. Eso sí, el soundtrack sobresale. Esperaba un poco más.

Hoy empecé y terminé Thank Goodness You're Here! Aunque tiene partes divertidas y graciosas, es muy simple en gameplay, casi como un point-and-click, y quizás el humor británico no es lo mío. Eso sí, el soundtrack sobresale. Esperaba un poco más.

En noticias relacionadas, ayer terminé Hollow Knight. Excelente metroidvania, pero creo demasiado sobrevalorado (para nada es mejor que Super Metroid o SotN). Solo me faltó completar el Pantheon 5, pero ya se sentía más como tarea y no me estaba divirtiendo tanto, así que ahí queda.

IMHO the worst part of doing layoffs is that you lose both the people that leave and the people that stay.
The ones that stay will start looking for another job because they know they can be next, and also stop caring about the company.
The sad reality is that none of that matters to the suits.

Layoffs wreck studios. Institutional knowledge is SO valuable in the games industry. When you eventually replace that laid off employee, I don’t care if they’ve got 30 years of experience and dozens of games under their belt. They still have to learn the pipeline, the software, the systems.
