One of my fave political stories ever: when Maine’s GOP then-Gov LePage thought that not signing bills by deadline meant they’d die.
So he ignored all these Dem bills, thinking it’d kill them.
But in Maine, if Gov just does nothing (rather than veto), a bill becomes law.
So they all became law.

This is it. This Pats fan feels very poor management led to today, with everyone in the organization losing. But NFL memories are the shortest memories around, outside of the POTUS, so a little good fortune and a coach that can rehab Josh’s psyche makes this a pothole and not a crater
The timing of this is what really kills me. McDermott could’ve been fired after 13 seconds. He could’ve been fired after 2023. He could’ve been fired last year. Now? After winning 12 games with that crap roster?!
