Disabled people don’t survive without community care. So for us to be considered worth surviving, that’s building a world where we all survive by supporting each other.
It should click for you how many who ask for mutual aid online are disabled. Disabled people are likely to be in poverty & isolation. Disability makes life under capitalism precarious. That’s why disability justice is intertwined with getting rid of capitalism & why mutual aid is disability justice.

My sister Heather just kept calling me “unsafe” without any context and that this vague “unsafety” means she had to be emotionally abusive
Which is already indefensible but I just kept calling it a bigoted conspiracy until she got annoyed and “clarified” that it was I was mean to her as a child

Laura was the first to realize that they were not coming across as the benevolent long suffering siblings, they somehow believed themselves to be.
Up until this point they’d been very clear that any actual relationship was impossible and I’d only lobbied for basic common courtesy
