I've got the perfect James Bond solution. You Kelvin timeline it. As the bombs destroy the island, it causes a rip through spacetime, and Bond flies through it. He appears at MI6, nearly dead, before Casino Royale. His last words expose Vesper as the mole in MI6, changing the course of history.

"You can't have him waking up in the shower and saying it was all a dream."
Yes you can. You can literally do that. Bond has always been a bit on the ridiculous side, so it's surprising that it took until the last movie for him to die. Not being able to solve this problem is a lack of creativity.

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

I think my first one was a parallel port one. At some point I bought an internal one as well. When I moved from Europe to California, I backed up my data on a couple of Zip disks and lost everything!

My first Iomega ZIP drive was the 100mb version, and IIRC the eject function was too powerful and sometimes would shoot the cartridge completely out onto the desk.

President Trump won’t forget John Fetterman’s vote to end the shutdown on Republican terms. The senator can expect a full pardon the next time he pulls a gun on a black jogger.

Jake Tapper’s book in 2029 chronicling all of this decline will be a page turner.
Trump: "They had hundreds of countries, companies working on it and they were spending billions of dollars and when they turned it on it didn't work. That's why you had a helicopter crashing into an airplane. If we had a great system, bells and whistles would've started going off."

Blocking the crosswalk indicates that maybe the bumper stickers aren’t exactly accurate.
The bumper stickers should have to specify when they thought Elon went crazy. We need an exact date-slash-inciting incident

Lots of people comparing Senate Democrats to Charlie Brown trying to kick the football, but that analogy only works in a version where Lucy has told Charlie Brown she's going to pull it away, and also that afterwards she's going to have Snoopy executed in a foreign prison

Gee, coming out and backing Trump's tariff plans and anti-EV stance sure helping out the aftermarket industry, eh?
It's the Economy, Stupid: Post SEMA Show Edition.
I follow automotive groups as part of my day job & the largest auto aftermarket show, SEMA, just took place last week. Last year, people celebrating Trump's win thinking he'd "fix" the economy. Now, it was a depressing time as reality has sunk in.

Funny thing about Nate's attempt to show he and his buddies on X are normal:
Sydney Sweeney's new movie just posted one of the worst wide-release openings ever, whereas Predator Badlands—somehow deemed "woke," "gay," and "feminist" by online right-wingers—crushed it, setting a franchise record.

Good thing all of these new cars are also launching in Gran Turismo. With skyrocketing prices, 50-year mortgages, and no health insurance, it's going to be the only way for people to afford a new car.
