Anyone else skunk up garden parties whenever flyovers happen?

I started doing it in earnest during Boston’s run of championships, in whatever house party, bar or stadium I was at, wondering aloud what it must be like to have those things buzzing your neighborhood for real.

And here we are.

In Germany, a lot of houses have these Stolpersteines on their sidewalks or stoops. They’re a memorial to victims of the Holocaust who were ripped from that home. Some houses have a few. Other houses have many.

ICE has started going door to door in America.

I hate these charts so much because they imply chatgpt is comparable to the internet or phones

You could create the same graphic for full screen pop-up advertising on websites and make them look like ultra-rapid technology adoption when really they were just baked unavoidably into the internet
In 2025, AI became pervasive in American life and the economy, with ChatGPT surging in adoption much faster than any other major technology in memory. @nytopinion.nytimes.com

This history was on my mind as I, among a crowd of 4 million people, passed by Constitution Hall as we filtered out of the Mall after Obama’s Inauguration.

NEW: Jan Crawford's attack on SCOTUS "corruption" narrative was its own substance-free narrative.

On Face the Nation, CBS News's chief legal correspondent went after Supreme Court critics as "dangerous." And yet, her court defense was completely lacking in specifics.

Here in Delaware we have a statue of Thomas Garrett, a white man found guilty of obstructing the recapture of fugitives from slavery – ordered to pay damages to the point of ruin for it.

We don't, to my knowledge, have any statues celebrating the judges or jury members who found him guilty.
