I'm thinking about taking a break from Bsky for a bit. I'm incredibly stressed and there's a lot going on here right now and I've got a shitload of schoolwork to do. Someone ping me if people start abandoning this place en masse for a place that doesn't accommodate transphobes or ban Palestinians.

This would be insane. I would definitely be doing this if it does happen. I really hope they use the E60s (pictured). I never got the chance to railfan the BMLP when it was running.
The worst thing about feeling awful is that I can't look at my phone to take my mind off it because the light sensitivity makes me even more nauseous.

Sometimes I wish I was a billionaire so I could have the power to force the government to create UHC and create laws paying their workers a living wage as well as implement a high tax on other billionaires and then immediately give 99.9% of my money away to charities (I would still be a millionaire)

If you actually think about it, this is actually fucking horrifying. The fact that AI is getting closer to being indistinguishable from real video is a horrifying thing as it'll be used as as an "alibi" for a criminal or as "evidence" against an innocent person in criminal cases.

If you actually think about it, this is actually fucking horrifying. The fact that AI is getting closer to being indistinguishable from real video is a horrifying thing as it'll be used as as an "alibi" for a criminal or as "evidence" against an innocent person in criminal cases.

I really hope that after this administration is over (or earlier), the US fully reevaluates how it works and completely revolutionizes itself. A system that favors proper public transit, has UHC, and strong worker protection laws. Though there's so many trumpites that idk if that'll happen.

Autism does not need to be cured! It's the rest of society that needs to be more accommodating!! Neurodivergence and disabilities cause suffering only because we have so little understanding or support. Treating it as something "broken" or "wrong" only enforces that, please just help people instead.

The penn-camden light rail shuttle needs more time before departing penn station. Twice have I arrived at penn station on a MARC train with a light rail train sitting there and it's gone before I get to the platform and I'm not a slow walker.
