Honestly the way this is going I hope they approve the map because I don’t think it’s going to work out the way they think it will. But of course that won’t happen.
Breaking news: Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. issued a brief pause on a lower court order blocking a new congressional map in Texas that would give Republicans an edge in winning five additional House seats.
Supreme Court justice pauses order blocking Texas map favoring GOP
The order will give the high court time to consider an appeal by Texas, which is seeking to overturn the ruling by a panel of federal judges.

The offers the 49ers got to trade for this guy were bordering on absurd. Instead they re-signed him and they’re about to lose him for nothing. great work!
BREAKING: Fifteen months after signing a four-year, $120 million extension, Brandon Aiyuk and the 49ers appear headed toward a divorce, sources tell me and @mikesilver.bsky.social.

I was just looking at someone’s IG story and I accidentally clicked on some button that tried to call them while I flailed unsuccessfully to stop this call and why the fuck is that even an option???

God, if I had $3.5 million I'd help out my alma mater here because this stinks for all these employees.

Sadly I barely have $3.5 thousand.

Sugar on snow is hot maple syrup poured over snow (or ice shavings) and served with a pickle. If you don’t eat the pickle, you’re a Flatlander.

I made the mistake of using a website to get a quote on a house project and got absolutely inundated by calls from contractors. One company called me 3 times a day for a small tile project.

As an Eagles fan, that call was soft as hell. Gross that the game ends like that.

After a score and at the 2 minute warning, NBC didn’t take a commercial break? That’s odd.

“Hey Democrats, I know you suddenly feel more momentum now than at any point in the past year, but one question: what the fuck is wrong with you?”
The anti-Trump coalition of professional liberals, progressives, independents and former Republicans have spent the past year gathering in Washington to talk about their grim new reality.
Democrats spent a year at rock bottom. Have they learned any lessons?
It’s been a long year of arguments, wisdom-mongering and profanity for the professional left and its allies.

Mike McDaniel calling run plays up the gut at the goal-line from under center instead of kicking a field goal. No one wants to win this game.

I don't entirely agree with the argument, but this is easily the best breakdown I've read from anyone writing about the perils of sports betting -- it's articulate and well-sourced and knows what it's actually talking about, and I appreciated that a ton while reading it.
Golf Is Ripe for a Gambling Scandal
The MLB and NBA sports betting and gambling scandals are bad, but a UFC investigation may be a better comparison for how golf may get caught up in the chaos.
