You know what you call a bar that serves even one, single, lonely, solitary Nazi (v much including the current American iterations)?

You call it a Nazi bar.

This weekend and always: Don't open a Nazi bar!

Trump and the NYT and the WaPo working together to change the definition of elite from "billionaire with private plane in Florida" to "Barista NYU student" is because they knew the Epstein Files were gonna come out and didn't want everyone to realize the elites are pedos and in control

As @benjaminwittes.lawfaremedia.org points out, @lawfaremedia.org now employs more journalists in Kyiv than the Washington Post.

It's a remarkable observation, and a sad one for the Post and its readers.

But with your support, Lawfare will continue to cover Ukraine, from Ukraine... (1/4)

"Epstein class" is terrific not simply because several of them are directly tied to Epstein's crimes, but because it strikes at the corruption, immorality and impunity of that entire circle.
Ossoff: We were told that MAGA was for working-class Americans. But this is a government of, by, and for the ultra-rich. It’s the wealthiest Cabinet ever. This is the Epstein class. They are the elites they pretend to hate.

An observation I've been thinking about:

Around 2020, we were told that US political & corporate elites had been gripped by "wokeness" & thus become obsessed with climate change & diversity. This wokeness was alleged to be so severe & monomaniacal that it threatened the entire culture & economy.

It is really infuriating to see how misogyny really does unite men across the sociopolitical spectrum. And, in so far as the Epstein files go, they sort women into two categories: fuckable or irrelevant. When they near a hint of accountability they complain about not being able to make women prey.

It occurs to me that Leon Botstein is good at cultivating exactly the kind of ego gratification that Epstein sought out: an appearance of worldly, old-money educatedness with none of the demands or rigor of actual substance.
Bard College President Leon Botstein appears in the Epstein files more than 2,500 times, including arranging travel to Epstein’s island, hosting a visit with “girls” to campus and telling the child sex predator, “I miss you.”

What’s great about JD Vance is that unlike Miller, he doesn’t *want* to be hated. You can tell it eats at him that he is the object of universal scorn—that yet again he has given up everything in search of love, and found only contempt. This is what he deserves.

Among other things, how does Leon “Epstein Island” Botstein think he’s going to raise money anymore? His whole schtick was a pious, faux-profound plea to our better angels, and now that argument has been laughably undermined by his own behavior.
