Heads up, folks!

Two Earth-directed coronal mass ejections from the Sun are expected to arrive tonight(ish) and predicted to hit Class-G4 tomorrow evening, thanks to an X1.2 flare unleashed by the AR4274 region on Sol.

Thanks to Earth's magnetic field we'll be safe.

But there might be .. AURORAS!

Far out, almost half a century old today!

Was three when it came out.

Music video was such a big influence on me (from its slight horror theme, and dance routine) that by the time I was around seven I had a MJ red leather jacket and could do the Thriller dance.

Don't remember this single cover!

lol ….. He looks dead.

(I mean on the outside, we already know he has no soul in there, beneath those cold dead eyes and no reflection when he passes any mirrors. Throw holy water on him just in case.)
losing it that these were the best pics of John Howard that AAP could get today

Btw — is it just me or is @bsky.app iOS struggling with image uploads?

It seems to lag and reject for me and then I see the photo actually uploaded.

Extremely annoying.

Wait do I have it correct that Joyce Carol Oates said Musk was a shell of a man with no joy in his life and he totally saw it and said "No I'm not" and now he's searching the titles of different movies he likes and replying "great movie"

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Having, all the money in the world — and turning out like the guy people point and laugh at.

This is giving me so much joy!
incredibly funny that Joyce Carol Oates owned Musk so hard he's started trying to post like a regular person with normal interests

There’s a constant concept that Muslim people hate queer people and want us dead.

And sure, yes, there is a small fraction of extremists.

But apples for apples there’s probably more queer hating white evangelical extremists.

I love how Mamdani has publicly broken their brains on this.

Looooooooool — fantastic news to wake to!

Queer friends in the US — find where she lives and have a mini PRIDE street party outside her house to remind her that she is nothing but a loser, and will always amount to nothing more than this.

And make it extra extra gay to really push her buttons.

3/ At the centre of the Tarantula Nebula, the VLTI/GRAVITY+ observed the binary star in the inset below.

This object was originally thought to be an extremely massive star. Yet the new observations reveal its true binary nature, showcasing the stunning capabilities of the upgraded VLTI.

1/ Milestone achieved by the VLTI upgrade GRAVITY+: a laser has been installed at each of the previously unequipped VLT Unit Telescopes.

This will dramatically enhance the VLTI observing power.

The headline in this article is a bit link-baity as it suggests that the author is recommending this course of action, when in reality, the author assesses 10 non-dating apps and outlines how people are using them. There might be some hints of the suggestion but it’s not as strong as the headline.

High tide vs. low tide here in #Balmain

Tides are kinda freaky in that they show large masses of water shifting around the planet.

To fill Sydney harbour by this much is *a lot* of water!

Still thinking about Lambor who caused me to panic for about 2 seconds this morning when I saw what looked like a tiger running towards me in the park.

Turns out Lambor (owner told me that is short for "Lamborghini lol) is an absolutely beautiful doggo and is full of beans and character.
EVERYONE.

THERE’S A TIGER IN MY SUBURB 🐯

Just spent 30 mins playing with this guy and it was extremely rewarding.

Such a great character and instantly cheered up everyone at the dog park this morning! 💙
