Maybe I'll actually use this account to comment on politics/NFL. I assume there's just less toxicity here rather than Twitter but let's see!
It won't win any awards, it won't gain anyone political favor, but the City Council took the most courageous and influential vote that I believe will be taken all year.

The annual garbage fee in Jacksonville that's been $151.80 since 2010 will be $324. People will pay it as part of next year's property tax bill.

Ben Johnson is the singly best HC candidate I've seen in the last decade, and I am weirdly confident in him becoming one of the coaches we look back at having his own coaching tree ala McVay/Shanahan (elder), etc.

Not sure if it's just my read on things; but as a football fan BlueSky has been more than useful, it's been amazing almost solely because of @minakimes.bsky.social and how it seems she's recruited some of the best football commentators away from twitter.

The Jets really need to hit the reset button with a culture building, young, energetic HC. Someone who can extract the best play out of this young defense while the offense rebuilds and gets a young QB.

My conspiracy theory is that Shad has informed the staff they will be let go at the end of the season, and is too hands off to where they won't have any interim hires.

I'm elaborating why I wanted to leave the other site, I joined Twitter to follow football reporters and get detailed content. It's Sunday, games are going and my feed is 100% politics and fraught posts. Most of my follows and content i interact with is NOT politics, and this is what my feed contains

What Jaguar fans should not be rooting for:
1) a holdover. Whether it's in the front office, or anyone on the coaching staff. You have to root for a clean house. Baalke hasn't been as horrible as many have claimed but he's 100% contributed to the dysfunction of the larger organization.
