This makes NJ the first state in the nation to truly implement Vision Zero statewide
🎊 Big news for safer streets in NJ! 🚸

Today, Gov Murphy signed the NJ Target Zero Commission Bill into law, committing to eliminating roadway fatalities and serious injuries by 2040.

The path to zero starts now. We’re set to end preventable tragedies on our roads! 🚦 #VisionZero

Honestly, NJ’s commitment to the notion that only NJ can charge out-of-staters a toll is, on a certain level, commendable =>

Very disappointed about 606 hearing. How hard was it for @nyc-dot.bsky.social to state truth simply & unequivocally: licensing hasn’t worked anywhere, it’s onerous & expensive, will NOT make streets safer & will lead to less ebike use & more car dependency.

What has proven to work? Infrastructure.

my god these City of Yes concessions are getting worse. An absolute dereliction of duty by @council.nyc.gov. Political cowardice like this is why New York has been losing population, house seats, and electoral votes and will continue to do so unless we change course.

What if eliminating parking mandates could unlock thousands of new affordable homes and vibrant neighborhoods in NYC? The City of Yes plan could make it possible, but only if we stop prioritizing cars over people. @streetsblognyc.bsky.social

City of Yes can only work — and we urgently need it to work — if we do that.
