she got so many number 1s (63.4%), that for her to NOT win on the *first count* you'd have to add so many voters ALL choosing someone else that the turnout would have been 58%, higher than every other pres election since 1990

Saying that it's "too hard" to get on the Irish president ballot when an independent woman got the entire Irish left to back her, got the biggest vote ever and beat two historically dominant parties is not just wrong - it is breathtakingly offensive and outrageously dishonest.

At a time of increasing polarization, I would have thought it right and proper that our leaders show courage and rise above the divisions to try and bring unity & consensus to political discourse. Will hold judgement until the real reason emerges but this doesn't look good. #Áras25 #leadership

the Musical Instrument store in Cork on the old blackrock road. Lovely place. Ray in there was playing tunes with me as I tested bouzoukis. Very clued in to the music scene. They have Crowley’s old stock so go in there for 2nd hand amps, instruments.
