I think in general I have a fairly high “politician forgiveness” threshold because I understand they face a firehose of shit everyday and also in a democracy they have to comprise all the time, but Simon Harris not standing up for immigrants in this moment feels like one that crosses that threshold

It turned out the UK Labour Party has asshole views on migrations as well as on gender identity.

It is so disturbing to see these pictures of people outside the court happy and pompously pleased with themselves for doing something that makes no material improvement to anyone's lives and makes the lives of some so so much worse.
