Have the DOGE boys gotten around to cancelling

The current administration seems to view this as a motivational quote.

“A far more transactional approach to corruption cases” is a world-case euphemism for “you can bribe Trump to drop your bribery charge”

This is completely illegal. The reason it is being permitted is that the press refuses to say it is illegal, only describing it as contested.

"Republicans have long wanted to get rid of CFPB" raises the question of why they weren't able to do so, a question that reporters can't answer because it would lead them to to a second set of questions that would collapse the entire pretense of artificial normality undergirding media right now

The most frustrating part of the Trump administration's attacks on Politico is that few news sources (save maybe Axios) have relied so heavily on Beltway insider knowledge, thereby normalizing Trump while he's in power and avoiding talking outright about the danger he poses to democracy itself.

You need to understand that the complete failure of the news media - and therefore, the public - to react to Musk’s constitutional coup is overwhelmingly the fault of the Democrats. Republicans want no reaction, so it’s incumbent upon Dems to create one, and they have simply refused.

Hard to overstate how bankrupt, reprehensible, and loathsome blaming this airplane disaster on DEI is. But it ought to be said.

If the FAA director got fired over a business beef AND there was an air traffic controller hiring freeze despite huge shortages AND a chaotic blitz to hollow out federal bureaucracy, and then within a week the first American airliner crashes in 16 years, you would be insane not to talk about it all.

Bit of an experiment for those of you not deep in the weeds of immigration. I’ve got a question for you.

Imagine a woman from India with an MA degree. She has a job lined up willing to sponsor her for an immigrant visa. How long do you think it will take to get the visa?

Reply below. No googling!
