On a Saturday night I stumbled across something on the internet that made me feel like ****** my pants. A giant dataset of real surveillance operations targeting 1000s of people across nearly every country. Unraveling it and the mysterious company behind it has consumed 1.5 years of my life

Israel is still preventing aid from reaching Palestinians in Gaza

Israel is still collectively punishing the entire civilian population to pressure Hamas

It is still a crime against humanity to withhold aid from civilians

They buried the very idea of palestine today. They buried it with weapons, now they bury it with money. Thats what it looks like.

As with all previous agreements that Israel is party to, it will lie and claim the other side violated it, and begin massive unilateral violations. Israel has bombed Lebanon thousands of times, killing dozens (including several children who were US citizens) since the Nov 2024 ceasefire.
🚨In blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, Israel has announced it will slash agreed aid shipments in half and keep the Rafah crossing closed, after Hamas returned four of the 28 bodies of Israeli captives believed to be in Gaza.

Hamas officials had repeatedly told mediators...

Do not expect the violent dehumanisation and dystopian military technologies perfected in Gaza to remain there. Our dark history tells us otherwise. What a pity we did not heed its lessons.

The very purpose of these phased deals is to allow for Israel to maintain veto points over key elements of what would be considered the march to peace. It was bad when the previous administration embraced the phases approach and even worse now.

I've never really gotten a satisfactory answer on this beyond the fact that Western establishmentsrian left liberals, especially in the Anglosophere and Germany, just simply identify with Israel on an ideological level.
Yeah I think it is abundantly clear that Israeli politicians, and not just limited to Netanyahu but even up to Lapid, have a preference for right wing blocs in other countries. The puzzling part is that liberals and left wingers across the board in N America and Western Europe have no response
