Who should do the fact checks with millions and millions of fake news? The nature of social media itself is the problem. However it probably is impossible to get rid of every social network and revert debates to pre 2010-status.

I once flew off an e-bike and caught myself with my hands and broke both my elbows. Went to a hospital 10 minutes away and it took 2 hours to explain to them that the other elbow was broken too. It wasn't a language issue.

Let me add to this that you will never see the same doctor twice, so you will need to repeatedly explain what’s wrong with you and what treatments you have received.

To state the obvious, if Alabama burned down and a Democratic Congress said they had to idk, learn to read or go 48 hours without saying a racial slur, it would be a national scandal.

To state the obvious, if Alabama burned down and a Democratic Congress said they had to idk, learn to read or go 48 hours without saying a racial slur, it would be a national scandal.
I don’t think schools as we know them will survive what’s coming and that’s a net good think as is the emerging human ability to have almost limitless access to previously god-tier knowledge consumption and creation.

I think one of the things that's hard for Americans to understand because Facebook and the internet evolved separately here is how much Facebook was the internet in Myanmar. There's no Facebook free basics or whatever it was called eqivalent for US audiences
