There we were, now here we are.
One check of the comments section on the BBC website tells you all you need to know, full of entitled dick heads who are simply never happy. Still twatting on about immigrants and how the country has become a shit hole since Brexit, convinced they had nothing to do with it.

For fuck sake.
People continuing to support Labour throughout this monstrous shit show of a government are making exactly the same mistake that Conservative voters made while their party also barreled down the right wing rabbit hole trying to appease those who can't be appeased.

At some point you have to say no.

A quick check in the comments section on the BBC website confirm what we all know anyway; Reform voters will never be happy with Labours efforts on immigration, regardless. These people cannot help satisfied. So why are Labour wasting their time on this shit.

Labour now have Rupert Lowe and Tommy Robinson as cheer leaders.

Nicely done, Keir. What a man of the people you are.
And as an update, the Home Secretary now has Rupert Lowe on board with the new policies announced.

All we need now is the ghost of Enoch Powell to chip in and there'll be a full set.

I'm at the point now where I think this Labour government may actually have gone down in my estimation beyond even the Tories. The fact they campaigned on promises to change things for the better, but have instead continued the shit show of the last 14 years is unforgivable.

Labour can get fucked. I'm finished with them. No Labour govt should ever speak like this.

This government is a dodo. They'll solve nothing, they'll improve nothing. In 3 and a bit years they'll be turfed out with barely a vote going their way.

They will not have my vote again.
On Monday, Shabana Mahmood will announce an overhaul of the asylum system, here’s why ⬇️

Just like austerity in the UK, cutting funds almost never ends how they tell you it will. It's just another way of dismantling a country.
Was it worth killing thousands of people by destroying USAID and cutting cancer research to get this result?

Wider society is hugely guilty of this, aided I must say, by a media that constantly turns a blind eye to obvious skullduggery. When will we all learn.
I hope the people who need to learn the lessons offered today are starting to realize that when you endlessly give certain folks the benefit of the doubt, this is the kind of evil that happens.

Why indeed.

Our media is a dirty joke.
Stories on BBC News - a street brawl which helpfully tells us those involved were “of Turkish origin” and another about a sex offender “Sudanese” but an extremely prolific sex offender responsible for 343 offences is not described as “white British” why is that

How surprised I am to find that Alice is just another born into wealth, privately educated silver spooner with practically zero experience of the real world for normal people, while living on an estate in the south of England.

Why should we listen to her, again?
The usual boilerplate stuff. But one thing I struggle to understand is why she uses the word "nihilistic" to describe young people moved to support a party with ideals and principles that hopes for a better world.
Sorry kids, Greens’ fantasy politics don’t add up
Now Zack Polanski’s party is polling level with Labour it’s time to subject his platform to the scrutiny given to the grown-ups

The frequency with which this government falls into every trap set for it is alarming. It really doesn't matter how much they do which is right, if they're constantly falling for every trick in the book.

Their only option is to go big and hard on meaningful policies that will make a difference.

A 95 year old billionaire is passing down his $195bn fortune to his already elderly kids using their foundations to avoid paying the tax on that.

If you wanted to know where the problems stem from, it's this.

It is decisions like this that have me back-peddling on my support of the BBC.

It's parody level self-sabotage, it makes a mockery of the organisation. Greedy, selfish and fundamentally nasty, Mackenzie shouldn't be anywhere near public space. He's a horror show of a man. Honestly... 🙄

Illegal migrants vape shops.

When did these come in? What the fuck is she talking about?
Mhari Aurora asks a pretty fair question, is booed by the crowd and told off by Dear Leader. Then Noa Hoffman, lobs a dogwhistle soft ball about making "our high streets beautiful again", not "covered in illegal migrant vape shops," to great applause.

Genuinely ugly moment. ~AA

Incredible that Robbie Gibb - most influential person on BBC board by many accounts and from journalists I speak in BBC - was involved in setting up GB News.

GB News of course has breached Ofcom rules on *multiple* occasions - no sign of resignations though

One million job cuts inside 10 months 😂

The fucking daft pricks who voted for this guy haven't got a brain cell between them.
🚨 CNBC: "Announced corporate job cuts surging past 1 million so far this year, with 153,000 new layoffs just in October according to Challenger. That is the worst October since 2003."

Of course Chris Mason doesn't once mention the fact that successive former (Tory) governments repeatedly stripped the judicial system of funding and resources. This is what happens when outgoing governments employ a scorched earth policy, leaving an almighty mess for the next to clean up.

Then they suddenly changed.
