Goddamn it. Between old SCTV reruns, Beetlejuice and Home Alone, I remember having such a crush on Catherine O'Hara growing up. She had an amazing resurgence the last few years, too. :(

You're one of the funniest and most insightful people I've come across on this innernet. It's nice to see so many people here share the same sentiment. From one Ontarian Mega Man/Simpsons nut to another, hope you're feeling better, and that tomorrow is a much better day.

I mean, you'd think adapting Silent Hill 2 would be fairly straightforward. It's not a particularly convoluted story, but it was painfully obvious from the pre-release material that they couldn't even get the basics right.

I rewatched the first Silent Hill movie for the first time in years. Somehow worse than I remembered, could barely finish it. To this day I've only made it through 15 minutes of the second one. Not at all surprised to hear the third time was not the charm.

Ghost Rider should, by every metric, be a bigger deal.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Rob Reiner's directorial run from the 80's to the early 90's was something else. Misery and A Few Good Men in particular being two of my all-time favorites. Such a grim and tragic end.

What an awful weekend.

Well kids, Half-Life may be gone but there was still lots of good stuff in that show: weird Badger game, new KOTOR(?), Ontos, not-Yakuza, the new Control, Lego Batman and Tomb Raider look great, Werner Herzog, Old Leon, and Mega Man lives.

Film you've seen more than six times. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR or Marvel

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa was right up there with Frank Langella and Raul Julia in completely understanding the cartoon villain assignment.

Another great actor that I'm going to miss.
