It's really annoying how hard it is to buy music. What I'd like is to go to a band's website and then pay them what they think is a fair price for their latest release.

I don't know what Deloitte charged for this non-sense report. But the guy behind the King James Programming Markov chain (kingjamesprogramming.tumblr.com) can probably generate much funnier nonsense for a much lower price, and it wouldn't even require boiling the ocean.

Mario Galaxy is so much better on my Steam Deck than it was on the Wii. Took me a bit to nail down a control scheme that works, but now that I have it's just a super fun game.

I upgraded my #ollama model backing self hosted apps from #llama3.2 to #llama3.3. And while it’s definitely better, it’s way larger and therefore slower.
Hard to imagine use cases my just for fun stuff where these gains would be worth the extra compute costs to match the performance.

I really think it's stupid to charge fares for #PublicTransit. I have, and quite like, the #DeutschlandTicket. But, all the infrastructure in and around collecting fares, and chasing down people for fines is just a complete waste.
It's an insulting waste too as it only targets the poor.
