You could distill this to "most people will never actually engage with games on their own terms, up to and including actually reading or even playing the game" which is why lots of those people think game design isn't real and also why the success of RPGs is measured largely by your art budget

The UK just proposed new school guidance that effectively bans even social transition for trans students (using a different name, pronoun or haircut). It implements a full bathroom ban while requiring mandatory outing of trans youth if a teacher suspects they are trans.
