err rather than panic-DDOSing wikipedia, which hasn't been banned in the UK, and which, while definitely on a chilling path, is still some way from being unavailable in the UK, you can take a more proportionate precaution to remain access (to this and many other things) by learning how to use a VPN
UK folks - reiterating that it's super important that you download Wikipedia for offline use like now-ish if you want to guarantee you can keep having that incredible resource!!

it's always been exactly in character for superman. even down to the stories of him fighting nazis or the kkk or whatever - they're all stories from the earliest versions of the character in the 1930s/1940s. this discourse speaks more to how aggressively contemporary political discourse has decayed.

as soon as i thought of self love as “love yourself the way you would a houseplant or a pet cat” it became so much easier for me. the goal isn’t to be worshipping yourself but rather being fed, watered and comfortable enough to be able to actually live without all that extra shit getting in the way
