if prison is the one place trans people can be quietly killed with no consequences, they will work overtime to try and get as many of us into prison on trumped up charges as possible
the consequences of (1) seeing incarcerated peopel as subhuman, and (2) seeing transition as a frivolous luxury instead of as medical care, are as predictable as they are catastrophic
This is what guys like Yglesias, and everybody else making hay about Kamala supporting transition care in prisons, want to happen everywhere.
