I doubt many of us expected a positive outcome - the English courts can be relied upon to pummel our community these days. It was a surprise that services can apparently remain trans inclusive though. We have no choice but to fight on to the bitter end - I’ve already donated to the appeal.
"Judges swear an oath to 'do right to all manner of people after the laws and usages of this realm, without fear or favour, affection or ill will.' All manner of people and without fear or favour. We need to tell them that trans lives are real and they matter."
Trans lives are real and they matter. The courts must recognise that

Good morning everyone - I slept better than I expected given the schools guidance yesterday and my pessimism around the GLP vs EHRC verdict today. I hope everyone else managed to get some sleep too.

These are the bigots behind transphobia, the wedge issue to separate trans-women from cis-women. It was never to end with us, we are just the means to an end.

So this is the future that beckons courtesy of “For Women Scotland”, “Sex Matters” and all the other useful idiots. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

The Heritage Foundation has released a 250-year roadmap to “save America.”

The document is a how-to guide for subjugating girls & young women: a detailed plan to push them out of college, funnel them into early marriage and motherhood, and then trap them there.

It’s noticeable who the BBC has chosen not to include in its list of famous people in the Epstein files - just saying!

I've not said much about the impact of FWS v SM on me really.

I came out late. In my early forties. Like many late transitioners, I had a history of anxiety and depression. I wonder if there's a link? /s

Anyway...

Okay… So if that’s the case, then trans people don’t recognise the corrupt Supreme Court ruling. 🤷‍♀️

I spent the weekend building a small storage cupboard from MDF to put an A3 printer on under my desk. It’s looking great and just needs painting. For a drawer, I’m opting for a hand-made willow basket and have just ordered a custom made one from a traditional basket weaver 😃

Doesn't feel particularly radical to suggest that the taxpayer should not subsidise organisations whose entire purpose seems to be to hound an incredibly marginalised group out of public life.
No organisation existing solely to eliminate trans people should be a charity. #DeregisterSexMatters

There's been some commentary to the effect that the only thing standing in the way of mandatory trans segregation in the UK is the outcome of the GLP vs EHRC judicial review.

On the face of it, this seems right.

But let's suppose that GLP loses...

One of the many fundamental mistakes made by the anti-trans campaigners is their assumption that trans people will meekly "follow the rules" and consent to our own segregation.

Akua Reindorf seems particularly nonplussed on this front, but I've seen it from others.

They just don't get it.
i will not be following the ehrc guidance nor will i be abiding by any laws @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social introduces.

these ppl are bigots and their bigoted policies should be ignored and broken at every opportunity.

trans ppl are not activists but if they seriously want us to be then we will be.

This!
Forstater's win was the breaking point for UK law in my view. It's been at best a fucking joke ever since.

Being a transphobe isn't a religion, or a spiritual system. It's a political belief, a monstrosity of one and directly akin to the Nazis' hatred of Jewish people.

Every time I see GCs celebrating a court win all I see is the same playground bullies who once tormented me for being “too soft” and “a girl”. Except they’re obviously still obsessed with my sex and now insist I’m “a man”. Awful people.

In a break from the trans discussions: I’ve had both an electrician and a plumber in for separate issues during the week. I’ve also painted the walls in both my kitchen and bathroom because of the mess left by the tradesmen (not their fault!). Oh, and I was at work for 45 hours……. I need a rest!
