Guys I think I am going to buy a Steam Machine / Gabecube when it comes out. I have a whole lot of games on steam which I have no way to play, and this will give them back to me.

A Dungeon Game is here and it's free! (It's been both of those things for ages tbh)

Explore subterranean depths, face dragons, and discover what lurks beneath. It's classic dungeon crawling with modern design (i.e. it's good).

Combat rules for FLAIL are this simple. Roll a bunch of d6s. On a 1, do weapon damage. On two 1s, do double weapon dmg. On three 1s, the foe is removed from the game! Further bonuses can then be triggered by making POKER DICE rolls like pairs, triplets, sequences, or full-houses. Check it out!

The February Mecha TTRPG Newsletter is out, and it features HOME: Mech x Kaiju by @deepdark.games.

It also features some mecha rpgs that will be funding for ZiMo, some free downloads, and a call to action for the injustices happening in Minnesota, where I reside.

Thank you CJ I thought that instead of mumbling a complaining soliloquy I should try and do something about things that annoy me. Also this is possible thx to the work of amazing folks who built the PagedJS framework notably Julie Blanc.

Awaiting the Francis Bacon fry-up at the Tate.
Cafe at The Portland art museum has Rothko no. 5 cakes. Something intellectually meaty about seeing the painting in person, and then eating a cake copy. The complete experience. Full spectrum.

This post was brought to you by 'remembering my dad was only 45 when he died' and 'feeling terrible rage he didn't have the time to do everything he wanted'
I will be 40 later this year. I don't think I have achieved many of the things I wanted to achieve in my life, but I do believe I can get half of them done with however much time is left on the clock.

Hello hello, I would like your recommendations for 'working' or 'writing' music. For me these are usually wordless and allow for your brain to sink into them while it's doing something else; GLUE by BICEP is a great example. Or that Dawn of Midi album. Please send me rec's!

The writing process feels like a weird long distance drive through tundra right now. Never quite sure why I'm writing anything I decide to work on, except a vague sense that it *feels* important. That I want to solve it. That's notably distinct from reasons anyone would want to read it.
