Climate denial didn’t spread on its own. Exxon paid to export it.

every time you think the new WaPo editorial board can't embarrass itself any more, they manage to find a way.

Left: 'Texas gerrymandering is no big deal!', from August.
Right: 'Maryland gerrymandering is an affront to Western civilization!', from today.

I missed this from @nbcnews.com @natashakorecki.bsky.social: Immigration agents tear gassed a 2-year old girl in Chicago. See the story below
“All of a sudden, my eyes were just burning and I couldn’t breathe,” a Chicago mom told @nbcnews.com

Then she heard her 2-year-old scream: “Mommy! Mommy! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!”

She realized immigration agents were in the neighborhood and deployed chemical agents.

incredible that these guys have a massive hard on for a country that, if it were a state, would rank behind kansas in terms of wealth and which would be a total backwater if it weren’t economically integrated with more functional countries

The AI build-out is truly staggering.

Taiwanese exports of information & communication products (basically, semiconductors from TSMC) have risen from $10-11bn per month to $27bn in the space of a year. That's over $300bn annualised and roughly a fifth of total US equipment investment.
