Tomorrow is #BlackFridayParking!

Join us in highlighting why costly mandatory parking requirements are unnecessary by showcasing all the excess parking on the busiest shopping day of the year.

Take some pics and post them with the #BlackFridayParking tag!

Black Friday Parking - Parking Reform Network
The idea is simple: showcase that even on the busiest shopping day of the year, plenty of parking spaces remain unused, supposedly when demand is at its peak.

So not just building codes where US regulations are out wildly out of step with the rest of the world and the EU in particular?
the problem isn't LED lights, though, it's DOT having far less strict standards for beam pattern & glare than Europe (whose regulations are followed by much of the rest of the world). The allowed height of the lamps and the allowed height of the beam is much lower in the ECE standard.

In a new phase 3 trial, people randomly assigned to receive a flu shot made with modified mRNA were 34.5% less likely to be diagnosed with an influenza-like illness than people given a standard flu shot made with inactivated virus.

We need to stop the anti-science attacks against mRNA vaccines!

We're endorsing Aftyn Behn for Congress for a December 2nd special election in Tennessee.

This is an opportunity to flip a congressional seat and make Republicans’ already razor-thin margin in the House of Representatives even smaller.

Let's discuss what's at stake.
November 18, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Pleased to say @aura-atx.org has a plan for this, so stay tuned!

And for any Central TX #txlege candidates - we're looking for #pro-housing, #pro-transit candidates who are committed to the best housing + mobility solutions for our region.
Hey Austin Urbanists, we’ll have a state rep and two judicial candidates, at least, on the March ballot with histories of hostility to housing.

We need to be sure to nominate candidates that are committed to affordability and inclusion.
