Guys (canonical) doing stuff remains undefeated
if i've learned one thing from doing union stuff while also doing other forms of organizing, it's that you're better off with people you disagree with who are nevertheless trying to do the same thing as you than with people you agree with who aren't trying to do anything

Good morning from DAY FIVE of our national ULP strike!

We're ready to escalate if we don’t see substantial progress toward finalizing contracts that address pay, hours/staffing & the resolution of 100s of ULPs.

China has banned calling your car self-driving when it isn't, a ban on slick door handles that don't work in emergencies is in the works, and now it's coming for rapid 0-60 times, as it seeks to destroy every last one of Tesla's "innovations."

The filibuster is the excuse! Dem leaders keep shoveling this shit and you keep gobbling it down.
The reason is their richy rich friends and donors all decided enough was enough.
I think this helpfully confirms the notion that the end of the filibuster was a big motivator for the eight Dems.
Heaven forbid the Republicans get rid of the filibuster…
November 14, 2025 at 4:04 PM
Democratic voters will hoot and holler about wanting to "burn it all down" but then go donate, volunteer and vote for some dope who doesn't believe we should end the filibuster.
Then they'll pound the table when Dem elies don't take them seriously.
It's all very embarrassing.

People on here luv to hope/fantasize that a scandal, crime or crisis (economic or otherwise) will doom their political enemies, but that is a rarity.

What is required is lots of organizing and luck. Sorry to say

Despite the decade+ of hopium that the fossil fuel industry, climate campaigners and Dem elites sold us, currently our society is fucked.

Global warming is a one-way ratchet making all aspects of society worse. We must end mindless capital accumulation and build a society of sustainable communities
