This press tour is about to be wild
Margot Robbie tells Fandango she became “codependent” with Jacob Elordi while filming ‘Wuthering Heights’:

“I found myself starting to look around to see where he was. I was really unnerved and unmoored. And I felt quite lost, like a kid without their blanket or something.”

This guy and Jacob Elordi are the same guy

You cannot tell me otherwise
2 year ago today, Benson Boone released “Beautiful Things.”

This guy would be my FIRST call if I lived in Eugene
I’ll never get tired of this ad at our local indie theater 😂

The Lowdown is the best damn show not enough people are watching. I can exclusively report that FX has ordered a second season of the delightful Ethan Hawke comic mystery series: www.whatsalanwatching.com/the-lowdown-...

Justified
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc

The problem is not that we have stopped doing journalism and thus, our viewers are searching for their news elsewhere. The problem is our font is bad. The font must change, not us.

I know people had legit gripes with self-checkout, but I can't help but think a big reason stores reduced the presence of self-checkout is because it will be much harder to catch dynamic pricing when items aren't ringing up right in front of us and there's a cashier rushing us through the process.

Just look at how Twilight and Harry Potter worked out for those casts, in terms of who's working now.

Although I expect Millie Bobby Brown will voluntarily step back in her 20s, only to have a resurgence in 10-15 years (aka "pulling a Dakota Fanning").
I hope those Stranger Things kids made serious bank because I predict a sudden plummet in almost all of their career arcs

Stranger Things season 5: We will each have to murder 15 people to achieve our goal

A lot of the complaints I've heard about One Battle boil down to wishing the movie is something different than it is. Lot of people fighting with a version of the movie that doesn't actually exist.
one issue with the Takes on OBAA is that it is a layered and dense movie that demands viewers actually watch it and try to take it on its own terms which a lot of people are terminally unable to do

Josh O'Connor has immaculate taste
Josh O’Connor calls THE LAST JEDI “so beautiful.”

“The end of that movie - how anyone could be a Jedi... I just remember seeing that movie in the cinemas and I wept of that last image with the boy. It’s just one of the most iconic images in cinema”

I appreciate features like blind spot awareness and collision prevention. Having a HUD that shows MPH vs speed limit has made me a safer driver. What I do NOT want is my car to do so much that I forget how to fucking drive. Until the car does not need me AT ALL, I will not relinquish that skill.
