This is why we don’t watch CNN anymore.
CNN has a panel talking about Epstein and the host just mentioned (almost as an aside!) that one of the guys is a lawyer defending Ghislaine Maxwell. And rather than being a guest who's grilled about the case, he's treated like any other panelist who just happens to be minimizing the crimes.

Whew! Sen. Susan Collins should be “very concerned”

She showed up as the main guest at a ribbon-cutting in Searsport, Maine. It backfired.

The crowd was not happy to have her: “Shame. Shame. Shame.”

I must have missed all the Law and Order SVU episodes where they didn't interview the victims and just asked the criminals what happened.

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

We've been, correctly, beating them up for not doing anything. Today they did something and they deserve credit. Nice job, Dems. More, please.
1. Today, Senate Democrats showed spine, and killed a national transgender sports ban bill via filibuster.

Not a SINGLE Democrat voted for cloture.

S. Baum writes about what happened today, including some of the speeches.

Senate Dems Show Spine, And National Sports Ban Bill Dies
The failed legislation reflects a wider effort to disallow trans women (or anyone suspected of being a trans woman) from women’s sports and spaces.

This is Winston Churchill visiting Washington DC to request assistance in the war against Germany. Notice he is wearing a "zip suit" and not a traditional suit. This was to honor the British troops--the same reason Zelensky dresses the way he does.

This is an attack on Medicaid, & ANYONE who votes on this budget this week is voting to cut Medicaid in America, and voting to gut healthcare for Medicare recipients in America.

As a recipient of Medicare and Medicaid, I PLEAD with you to call your member of Congress at 202-224-3121 & say NO CUTS!
February 25, 2025 at 9:02 PM
They absolutely are. If you’re in a red district, and you don’t want Medicaid cut ( and it WILL be followed by Medicare and SS) please get on the phone to your congressional rep and tell them to vote against this budget.
They’re cutting Medicaid
REPORTER: Can you say unequivocally that down the line, there won't be cuts to Medicaid programs?

MIKE JOHNSON: Medicaid is hugely problematic because it has a lot of fraud, waste, and abuse.
