If you’re Allegheny County proper (I am not), please give the council a shout. And maybe an extra shout for all of us in the metro area who don’t have a say, but who are affected by their policies anyway.
the part i like best & feel is 100% necessary is that it takes the decision off of anyone in office who might feel pressured to cooperate with ICE, b/c it bars future cooperation from future elected officials/county employees, too.

Allegheny County Council to consider bill barring ICE cooperation
The proposed legislation would build on existing policy to prohibit county employees from sharing county resources or data with ICE, unless they have a court order signed by a judge.

I don’t know. It’s a hard day in a hard week, in a hard month—hard times abound. But my jade plants decided to bloom. So something must be right.

Anyway, the snow will be a nice break from exploding tree season.

Bumping again, as Arisia’s Dealer Room constitutes most of my early year income! Also, I miss you and I’m really bummed to not be there before the gap year.
Regrettably, due to cosmically bad vehicle troubles, I will not be vending at @arisia.bsky.social this year.

You can peruse the online shop if you want to help an independent artist out. (And you can buy stickers there, which the venue wouldn’t permit anyway.)

Please email your local library and politely complain about Libby's AI "Inspire Me" feature.

Your local library worker will love this. Seriously. We had so many tools for collecting feedback.
the thing with Libby is you are not Libby's customer, your library is Libby's customer.

so I guess we should all complain to our libraries!
