Do you know what is utterly bonkers? That kids in the UK are forced to keep their blazers on all day and are punished if they don’t.

It’s insanity.

Make it stop.

A reminder

"Taking luxury cars out of disability" saves the taxpayer ZERO. Disabled people pay the cost difference themselves.

It also means they can't get a replacement car guarantee. So if you're disabled, you won't be able to get to work if your car breaks down.

To put that these Motability cuts into perspective...

It will save around £300 million.

Latest figures show the DWP has spent over £400 million fighting people on PIP appeals.

Scrap policies that punish Disabled people & stop pretending it's about economic efficiency! #Budget

Phase means a period of time.

Faze means disconcerted .

To be phased means you are going through a part of a process.

To be unfazed means you are chill.

This - I need large, high contrast, readable text - as does pretty much everyone
Automatic captions make it difficult to watch videos because the viewer is forced to decipher misspelled or mistranslated words that appear in a string of text without any punctuation. These can be distracting and disorienting. Always edit your captions before publishing.

The action is the problem, not the reaction.

This covers a whole lot.

As a deafblind person I have just been to the cinema to watch Wicked: For Good. The s teen was cinematically too dark for me to track the scenes, very dim lighting for majority of the film. My cochlear implants though, my gps what a soundtrack! Ariana was astonishing. So glad I could access that ❤️

Mass murderer Boris Johnson also harmed the country with Brexit.

He did that to gain power, high jacking a populist ideology for his own ends. And when he got his power he killed people with his incompetence.

The media fuelled the populist agenda. They are guilty of promoting a dangerous fool.

Y

Even as Boris Johnson was mass murder his citizens, I heard people defend him, saying nonsense like “no one else could have done it better” and continuing to suooort and vote for him, including the vast majority of his own party.

The media is complicit. Voters are complicit.

We shouldn’t have to hear from Boris Johnson ever again (unless it’s in court).
November 20, 2025 at 5:43 PM
What? You’re telling me that Johnson and Cummings were misogynistic and incompetent? And ignored female professionals and killed a stadium full because of it?

Who could have guessed this?

In 2020 I has the realisation that my country’s “leader” could not be relied on to keep me and my family alive.
I pulled my kid out of school a week before the first official lockdown. We lived in a bubble. I homeschooled despite being deafblind. My kid missed out on a birthday party … Cont

I have reread A Christmas Carol (Charles Dickens) again and it continues to be more relevant than ever.

It also reawakened my own Christmas spirit to its deepest core, and not just Christmas, but all decency and humanity. Ho Ho Ho!

Quite.
Not sure I've seen this, but doesn't it depend on which side of the border W&G are on? There it looks like their nemesis is in Yorkshire, which would make sense, as Lancashire is pure and good, and Yorkshire is evil.

Plus nick Park is from Preston, which is why he set it there

As a vision impaired person, I cannot access my local news page due to this (illustratedon post below - a page covered by pop ups and fast moving ads that obscure text and cannot be closed unless you chase the X). If I do get past the pop ups, the page doesn’t have dynamic text or high contrast
This has become the normal ‘local news website’ reading experience.
