Recent research based on ICIJ’s #OffshoreLeaks database found that ultrawealthy people in countries with high rates of financial transparency and oversight are just as likely to turn to the offshore world as their counterparts living under corrupt regimes.

Good morning Portland. 💙 The coffee shop (Heretic Coffee) said they had raised over $86,000 to help feed people losing food benefits as the government shutdown continues. The coffee shop has been soliciting donations for less than a week to pay for breakfast for people losing SNAP benefits. 🙏🏻
