You have no idea how over I am with the animation cynicism I'm seeing online regarding films and whatnot. It's gone beyond frustrating for me as I think there's a difference between being skeptical of a new film to being fully dismissive of it. Seriously, just wait till it's out.

“Indie is the future of animation” is an argument that I’m not falling for. I’ve learned that it won’t immediately fix all of the problems going on in the industry, easier said than done.

We literally just got Superman, Fantastic Four, Weapons, Frankenstein, Predator Killer of Killers and Badlands, Sinners, and 20 Years Later all within the span of 11 months. I highly doubt cinema is in any trouble this year.
