No surprise here but, @councilordanryan.bsky.social basically said that he supports the Trump tax cuts from the Big Beautiful Bill in the Financial Condition & Budget Work Session. He prefers we not disconnect the city & state tax code from the federal tax cuts.

How about an eviction moratorium until ICE is out of Portland?
My office has been contacted by constituents who have fallen behind on rent because of immigration enforcement actions. It's difficult to help, because so many of our programs are designed to offer assistance only after someone gets evicted.

Anyone of us could have been Rene Nicole Good, or our two neighbors who were shot in Portland. I visit the doctor at that particular building. A stray bullet could have easily hit any of us that day. ICE isn’t making anyone safer; they’re a tool of our oppression.
In order to defeat fascism you need a popular movement. As an immigrant, we need citizens to care like their own lives are at risk because they *are*
