It is odd to see how people just ignored the fact that valve has been saying this since the announcement.
They said repeatedly, to everyone they talk to, that it would be priced similar to PCS and wasn't looking to compete with consoles.
Gaming coverage loves list wars though so they ignored it.

In PR, we call this “bridging,” part of exec speaker training. When media ask a question you don’t want to/can’t/are afraid to answer, you acknowledge the question and change direction to the topic you want to/are allowed to/are comfortable answering. This is also an example of terrible bridging

Just learned that Creature Comforts Brewing has closed their downtown LA location aka the brewery at Summer Game Fest Play Days. Really glad that @iam8bit.com gave me my shot to be in there with my former jerb this past June. We had a blast and the CCB staff were awesome.
