The new ultimate c64 is nice and all for existing c64 stuff but what would be really cool would be to do like ZX Next and add a more powerful mode/core .. 256 colours, more sprites, blitter, more scrolling layers, two sids

Woot my scope works on uk 🔌
It’s overkill, over priced, and over complicated for 8 bit computers (underpowered for ESP32 and Pico at full MHz, though) but it’s saved me from a lot of desoldering over the years 🤩

Amstrad NC100 now has power but had to order a replacement ribbon cable to hopefully get the screen working 🤨

I did guess the fact all he needed to do was put some batteries in that untested meant broken 🤭
Could have given it a wipe down though, it doesn’t show in the photo but it’s filthy. Going to need a good bath 🧼

These permanent breadboards from pcbway came out amazing! It might not look like it, but just like a regular breadboard the power rails and columns are connected - much more convenient than perfboard
