Some thoughts on the X1 Carbon Gen 13. Amazing screen (went with OLED option) and good keyboard that is taking me a bit more to get used to than expected coming from a X1 Nano. Horrible speakers.

I was told that the EU’s anti-coercion instrument is being discreetly prepared for use against the US. A vote to trigger it would take place if Trump follows through on his tariff threat over Greenland. We’re entering uncharted waters

The paths and positions of the cable damages around New Years 2026 were to most of Estonia's internet backbone routes.

Both Americans and Europeans should realise EU decoupling from the US is not a temporary thing. We will not simply plug back in once Trump is gone. It will be lasting. For Europe the process is painful but salutary.
