Here’s a fun Flock FOIA that I stumbled upon. Turns out people like to steal and vandalize the cameras.

FOIA FRIDAY: The case of the missing and destroyed Flock Cameras.
The license plate readers keep disappearing and the costs to replace them are adding up.

And also, if they wanted moderation, why did they put Wonsley and Chavez back in? Why Soren? They had moderate options and in most cases picked someone else at the council level.
this analysis is strange in that it doesnt answer the fundamental question about Minneapolis voters - if Frey's multiple lies and polarizing ways were truly against their values and they were tired of it, why did they not choose Davis? www.startribune.com/jacob-frey-r...
Roper: Jacob Frey can thank the far left for handing him another term
Frey was a vulnerable incumbent. But progressives banked on the wrong guy to beat him.

The video here isn't going to win any awards.. but it's about the audio.

Might as well just fence off Lagoon at Hennepin if they don't ever want people there. Just unlock it for a couple hours on Friday and Saturdays for the fake bars?

Planners should listen to maps like this more than testimony at public meetings. The red areas are actually crying out for more homes.

That’s my top issue here in Midtown Phillips — plus Frey’s general failure to give any shits or work with anyone on anything. Anecdotal but please enjoy
My gut reaction, looking at this map, is the people who encounter the homelessness epidemic everyday voted to remove Jacob from office.

Those who don’t encounter this problem day to day had other concerns not addressed by the other campaigns.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

The way forward is together, not over the bodies of our own.

Ward 8 is @sorenwithward8.bsky.social of course.

To my mind, fencing off pedestrian right of ways which were authorized and funded by state and local jurisdictions without a public review process is blatantly illegal. No different from Trump closing federal departments he doesn't like.
"Fences have become a scourge for anyone trying to walk around downtowns or working-class Twin Cities neighborhoods over the last few years. Instead of solving challenging problems, our governments have turned to fences that cut off necessary urban connections..."
Using fencing to curb homelessness in the Twin Cities is an insult - MinnPost

That sums up my problems with Frey quite well.
