It’s an absolute shame that DC fired Gretchen Felker- Martin for exercising free speech and then @bsky.app suspended her account. Every writer here should be decrying this because we have to stand up for each other! This is ridiculous.

Rangappa: Do you believe that Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty?

Ferguson: Yes

Rangappa: She denied her guilt the interview.

Ferguson: Most criminals lie, newsflash. That's, like, not shocking.

Rangappa: Then why on Earth would you believe anything she said?

- the proffer agreement between Maxwell and the DoJ

- the agreement transferring Maxwell to club fed

- communications showing who waived Maxwell’s sex offender status allowing her transfer and possible work assignments outside prison

Subway sandwich guy has been released on his own recognizance.

His attorney argued the felony charge was excessive, and the judge agreed.

Oh, and he’s a USAF veteran.

BREAKING: Federal prosecutors said today they went to a grand jury twice to indict a D.C. woman for assaulting an FBI agent during an arrest by ICE — and were twice rejected.

Notably, she faces the same charge as the District's alleged sandwich thrower.

One of the crazier Ozzy/Sabbath moments I’v had was from Tori Amos' 'From the Choirgirl Hotel' tour. In the middle of "She's Your Cocaine," she transitions into Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf." Anyway, listening to some #Ozzy and drinking a dark beer to the Prince of Darkness tonight. Bark at the Moon!

Marc began calling for the prosecution of some of us who worked at Stanford, back in Dec 2022, right after the House changed hands. Including some of us he knew personally from time in tech, before he went off the deep end.

Normal stuff! Stanford canceling his wife’s class prob didn’t help.
Genuinely curious what happened with Andreessen's wife at Stanford: universities usually treat donors with kid gloves.

OTOH, it is unusual for donors and non-academics to actually run academic centers. Andreessen is mad that his wife did not get to hold the position in perpetuity.
